PLAGIARISM SCREENING

JASPENDIK: Jurnal Aspirasi Pendidikan is committed to upholding academic integrity and originality in every published article. We employ plagiarism detection tools to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are the original work of the authors and free from any form of plagiarism.

Plagiarism Detection Policy

Detection System:
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or Grammarly.

Plagiarism Tolerance:
Our journal allows a maximum similarity threshold of 25%. If the similarity index exceeds this limit, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.

Action Procedures:

  • Manuscripts with 26%–30% Similarity:
Authors will be required to revise the manuscript and provide clarification regarding the detected similarities.

  • Manuscripts with Over 30% Similarity:
The manuscript will be rejected, and the author will receive a formal warning regarding our plagiarism policy.

  • Severe Cases of Plagiarism:
If clear evidence is found that a manuscript contains plagiarized content or constitutes a serious breach of academic ethics, strict actions will be taken in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Sources of Plagiarism:
We check submitted manuscripts against a wide range of sources, including journal articles, books, reports, and online content. We also evaluate self-plagiarism and assess the originality of data and ideas.

Author Responsibility:
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their submitted work is original and that all references are properly cited.

Revision and Resubmission:
If a manuscript is found to contain significant plagiarism, the author must revise and resubmit the manuscript. Resubmissions will only be considered if the plagiarism has been fully addressed.
