AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. Introduction

JASPENDIK: Jurnal Aspirasi Pendidikan welcomes articles in the field of education, covering a wide range of topics and perspectives, including Islamic perspectives. Submitted articles must be original works that have not been published or are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Types of Accepted Articles

  • Original Research: Articles presenting significant empirical research findings in the field of education.

  • Literature Review: Critical reviews of existing literature that synthesize current knowledge and identify research gaps.

  • Conceptual Articles: Articles that develop new theories or offer new perspectives in education.

  • Best Practices and Case Studies: Practical experiences and case studies from the implementation of educational strategies.

  • Commentaries and Perspectives: Opinions, essays, and commentaries that provide critical or reflective views on current educational issues.

  • Articles from an Islamic Perspective: Articles that examine education from Islamic viewpoints in terms of theory, practice, or policy.

3. Article Structure

Submitted articles must follow the structure below:

  • Title: Should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the article.

  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, including the research objective, methods, results, and conclusion. The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Keywords: Up to 5 keywords that reflect the core of the article.

  • Introduction: Outlines the background, objectives, and significance of the research.

  • Methods: Detailed information on research design, participants, instruments, procedures, and data analysis.

  • Results: Clearly present research findings, supported by tables and figures if necessary.

  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, research implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.

  • Conclusion: Summary of key findings and main takeaways from the research.

  • Acknowledgements: If applicable, for institutions or individuals who contributed to the research.

  • References: List all references used in the article following the latest edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) style.

4. Manuscript Format

  • Document Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

  • Paper Size: A4 with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt size.

  • Spacing: 1.5 spacing for the main text and 1.0 spacing for the abstract and reference list.

  • Page Numbers: All pages must be numbered sequentially.

5. Article Submission

Articles must be submitted through the online submission system of JASPENDIK: Jurnal Aspirasi Pendidikan. Authors must register and log in to upload their manuscripts.

6. Review Process

All submitted articles will undergo anonymous peer review (double-blind review). Authors will receive feedback from reviewers and may be requested to revise their articles before acceptance for publication.

7. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to high standards of publication ethics. Submitted articles must be free from plagiarism and copyright infringement. All cited sources must be properly acknowledged.

8. Copyright

Authors whose articles are accepted retain the copyright of their work. However, by publishing in JASPENDIK: Jurnal Aspirasi Pendidikan, the authors grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors also retain the right to use, reproduce, and distribute their articles in any medium, provided that proper citation is given to the original publication in JASPENDIK: Jurnal Aspirasi Pendidikan.
