PEER REVIEW PROCESS

All manuscripts submitted to CENDEKIA: Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisipliner undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.

Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to assess:

  • conformity with the journal’s focus and scope
  • compliance with manuscript formatting and author guidelines
  • completeness of submission metadata
  • plagiarism screening results

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or rejected at this stage.

Plagiarism Check

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the review process.

The journal applies a maximum similarity threshold of 25%, excluding references, bibliography, and properly cited quotations.

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be rejected or returned for correction.

Double-Blind Peer Review

CENDEKIA implements a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • originality and novelty
  • relevance to the journal scope
  • methodological rigor
  • theoretical contribution
  • clarity of presentation and organization
  • quality of analysis and discussion
  • adequacy of references

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission
  • Revisions Required
  • Resubmit for Review
  • Decline Submission

Authors receiving revision requests must submit revised manuscripts within the timeframe determined by the editorial board.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after considering reviewer reports, author revisions, and editorial evaluation.

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and publication.

Publication Timeline

The average review process typically takes 2–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript revisions.

The editorial board strives to maintain an efficient, transparent, and objective review process while ensuring academic integrity and publication quality.
