AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Dedikasi : Jurnal Riset Pendidikan dan Pengabdian are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure the quality and consistency of published articles.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in other journals.
  • Articles may be written in Indonesian or English.
  • Manuscripts should be relevant to the journal’s focus and scope in the fields of educational research and community service.
  • Authors are responsible for the content of the manuscript, including data accuracy, citations, and ethical considerations.

2. Scope of Manuscripts

The journal accepts manuscripts related to:

  • Educational research (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods)
  • Development of learning models and educational innovation
  • Educational evaluation and educational policy
  • Character education and religious values
  • Integration of religious values in learning
  • Education-based community empowerment
  • Implementation of research findings in society
  • Literacy programs, training, and mentoring
  • Community service based on religious values and local wisdom

3. Manuscript Structure

A. Research Article

Research articles should be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title
  2. Author’s Name(s)
  3. Affiliation and Email Address
  4. Abstract (150–250 words)
  5. Keywords (3–5 keywords)
  6. Introduction
  7. Research Method
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. References

B. Community Service Article

Community service articles should be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title
  2. Author’s Name(s)
  3. Affiliation and Email Address
  4. Abstract (150–250 words)
  5. Keywords (3–5 keywords)
  6. Introduction
  7. Community Service Implementation Method
  8. Results and Impact
  9. Conclusion
  10. References

4. Manuscript Formatting

  • Manuscripts should be typed using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Manuscript length: 10–20 pages, including references and appendices.

5. Citation and References

  • Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant references.
  • References should primarily consist of scientific journals, books, and reputable sources.
  • Citation and reference writing should follow APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

6. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
  • Authors should ensure that the manuscript has been prepared according to the journal template before submission.
  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial review and a peer-review process.

7. Peer Review Process

  • Every manuscript will be reviewed using a peer-review system.
  • The editorial board has the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to the submitted manuscript.
  • Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ and editors’ suggestions within the specified time.

8. Publication Ethics

Authors must:

  • Avoid all forms of plagiarism.
  • Ensure the originality of the submitted manuscript.
  • Properly acknowledge all cited sources.
  • Avoid submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Follow ethical standards in research and community service activities.
