Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam pada materi Iman Kepada Kitab-Kitab Allah. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan di SMP Islam Unggulan Miftaahul 'Uluum Lampung Timur dengan subjek 20 siswa kelas VIII. Implementasi NHT dilakukan dalam dua siklus mengikuti model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat dari 64,20 (pra-tindakan) menjadi 70,95 (Siklus I) dan 79,90 (Siklus II), dengan ketuntasan klasikal dari 35% menjadi 90%. Analisis reflektif mengidentifikasi faktor kunci keberhasilan meliputi pembentukan kelompok heterogen, penguasaan sintaks NHT, scaffolding terstruktur, dan manajemen waktu efektif. Model NHT terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui mekanisme cognitive elaboration, peer tutoring, dan positive interdependence. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan pembelajaran kooperatif untuk PAI dan implikasi praktis bagi guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran inovatif berbasis konstruktivisme sosial.
