Religiusitas dan Kepatuhan Diet Pasien Kronis: Kajian Literatur Berbasis Perspektif Pendidikan Agama

Religiusitas sebagai dimensi psikologis dan spiritual individu telah menunjukkan keterkaitan yang signifikan dengan perilaku kesehatan, termasuk kepatuhan terhadap intervensi diet pada pasien penyakit kronis. Meski demikian, kajian yang secara khusus menelusuri hubungan antara religiusitas, pendidikan agama, dan praktik gizi klinis secara interdisipliner masih sangat terbatas. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peran religiusitas terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien kronis serta mengkaji bagaimana perspektif pendidikan agama dapat menjadi landasan integratif dalam pelayanan gizi klinis. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur (library research) dengan analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap sumber-sumber akademik dari basis data PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, dan Google Scholar, mencakup rentang publikasi tahun 2000 hingga 2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas berfungsi sebagai sumber motivasi intrinsik yang mendorong kepatuhan diet pada pasien diabetes tipe 2, penyakit ginjal kronis, dan kanker. Praktik keagamaan seperti puasa Ramadan, pantang makanan tertentu, serta nilai-nilai halal-haram terbukti memengaruhi pola konsumsi dan respons pasien terhadap intervensi gizi. Selain itu, pendidikan agama berpotensi membentuk sensitivitas spiritual tenaga gizi, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi terapeutik dan keberhasilan terapi. Kajian ini juga mengidentifikasi kesenjangan penelitian yang signifikan, yaitu minimnya studi empiris pada konteks agama non-Barat serta tidak terintegrasinya nilai-nilai religius dalam kurikulum pendidikan gizi. Kesimpulan menegaskan bahwa integrasi religiusitas dan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama ke dalam praktik gizi klinis merupakan kebutuhan yang mendesak untuk mewujudkan pelayanan kesehatan yang holistik, humanis, dan berpusat pada pasien.
